BA Fake Doors brings together a lot of our favorite things: friendship, collaboration, black currants, Elliot blueberries, and meadowfoam blossom honey. Klausing Meadery worked with us on the recipe and then we received an incredible Deth’s Tar barrel from our friends at Revolution Brewing to age this bad boy in. The result is tart fruit, mallowy meadowfoam and plenty of barrel characteristic. Our 4th mead aged in a Revolution barrel might be our favorite!

The Summer of the Barrel continues! In collaboration with our friends at Backlot Coffee we developed the Barrel Aged Wake Up. We started with the already fantastic base that came out of our Dead Drop Spirits whiskey barrel and incorporated some of the best cold brew Chicago has to offer. The Barrel Aged Wake Up is a beautiful blend of Michigan Wildflower honey infused with the bold essence of cold brew coffee. This mead will allow you to indulge your senses in rich, amber honey notes with the invigorating kick of cold brew, creating a blend of flavors that awaken your senses in every sip.

Geteme is the name of a flowering bush in Ethiopia that yields one of the most delightfully citrusy honeys we have ever tasted!
